The way the airplane was invented
The father gave his two sons a toy helicopter as a gift. Seeing that, the two brothers built a new helicopter. Only then was the radiance of the rising sun understood. Because from that toy helicopter was born a dream - the dream of making an airplane and flying in the sky together with two brothers.
Church pastor Milton Wright gifted a toy helicopter to his two sons, Wilbur Wright and Orville Wright. It was designed by Alphonse Pay, the inventor of the helicopter in France.
For this, the two brothers collected information on the aeronautical research of Sir George Kelly, Chanuit, Leonardo da Vinci and Langley. They collected and read all the publications on aircraft manufacturing published in 1898 and 1898. Because at that time many people like them were trying to make airplanes. But no one was able to succeed that way. Following the path shown by them, the Wright brothers started tireless research.
In July 1899, Wilbur tried to fly a five-foot-tall box kite with a fan. The following year they created Glider. Kitty Hawke of North Carolina, USA was brought in to blow it up.The flight lasted only 12 seconds. However, they did not give up. He then conducted two consecutive experiments in 1901 and 1902. The third time they got some success using their own invented instruments. It is blown about a thousand times.Name it ‘Flyer-1’. On March 23, 1903, the Wright brothers applied for a patent for a flying glider. They continued their pursuit and built the Flyer-111 in 1904. And in it they flew 105 times. This incident was published in all the media of the world, especially in the famous 'Herald Tribune' of America.
Until 1906, the two brothers concentrated on extensive research to make airplanes safer. They continue to liaise with various countries in America and Europe to sponsor research work. They later signed a cooperation agreement with a French company and US military authorities. According to the terms of the agreement, the two brothers have to fly separately in the two countries. Under the contract, older brother Wilbur worked in France and Orville in Washington DC.
Wilbur's study was not well received by French aeronautical researchers and the media. Despite their frowns, Wilbur successfully flew into the sky on August 6, 1908. This flight was successful. In front of thousands of spectators, Wilbur stopped the Durmukhs flying in the sky.On May 14 of that year, Charlotte Farnas, an assistant at Dayton, became the first passenger to travel with Wilbur in a fixed-wing aircraft. On October 6, the first American woman, Edith Berg (wife of a businessman), flew into the sky with Wilbur.
Wilbur and Orville promised their father they would not fly together. The father made such a promise thinking about the safety of the children. Orville successfully flew in September 1908 at the United States Army Headquarters in Fort Myer, Virginia. Then on September 9, he traveled alone for one hour, 2 minutes and 15 seconds. On 18 September, Army Lieutenant Thomas Selfridge flew into the sky with him as an observer. But on this day, after flying for a few minutes over 100 feet, the propeller of the aircraft exploded and the aircraft started shaking. The plane lost control and crashed to the ground. Selfridge suffered a head injury and died. That was the first death in a plane crash. Orville survived the crash but was seriously injured. Orville has not flown in 12 years.
Despite his younger brother's accident, Wilbur became more courageous and promised a more risky trip. Orville was joined in France in early 1909 by his sister Catherine. At this time they became members of the most proud and discussed family in the world. They grabbed the attention of all the people in the world. On May 25, 1910, Wilbur made two special flights to Hoffman Prairie. He broke his promise to his father and flew with his younger brother Orville for 7 minutes. That was the first and last time the two brothers flew in the sky together.Wilbur then flew for 6 minutes with his 72-year-old father, Milton Wright. As the plane flew over three hundred and fifty feet, Dad was overwhelmed with emotion and said, "Wilbur, get higher." That was Milton's only flight.
The Wright brothers were Chirkumar. The two of them were not married due to busy schedule. Wilbur's simple and succinct statement about marriage - "None of us had time to have a wife and an airplane at the same time."Wilbur died on May 30, 1912, at the age of 45. Father Milton wrote in his diary about Wilbur, ‘A short life, full of receipts.Unbeatable intelligence, enduring temperament, tremendous self-confidence and great humility, seeing the right clearly, sticking to it, he lived and died. ' Today's aircraft is sophisticated. Aircraft faster than sound have been discovered. But those first moments of building the aircraft were extremely risky and exciting. The Wright brothers have become immortal in history by inventing the plane with a trivial knowledge of life.
